BEAT have announced their estimate that around 3.5 million children, young people and adults in the UK are likely living with an eating disorder.
That is more people than the combined population of Manchester, Cardiff, Edinburgh and Belfast. With 1 in 20 children, young people and adults most likely affected in the UK – far more than previously thought.
